About Me:
I am an author, speaker and trainer. I am also a person who stutters and is gay. I spent many years learning to accept and love myself. By embracing my speech and sexuality with the help of amazing people and communities, I began to find peace, and direction in my life.
I describe this journey in my memoir ‘Just One More Drive: the true story of a stuttering homosexual and his race car’. Now as an experienced speaker and trainer, I continue to explore topics such as overcoming adversity, finding self-acceptance and living our best lives.
My Mission:
My mission is to use all the speaking and acting techniques I have learnt over the last twenty years to help inspire and train people find their own unique voices and become effective public speakers.
I am passionate about the power of the spoken word to inspire, lead and even heal us. My mission is to continue sharing what I have learnt with audiences globally and train others to find their own unique voices.
I do this through the following services:
Public Speaker – I speak publicly about the various issues I have experienced and written about, such as bullying, stuttering, suicide, resilience and LGBTQ+ issues.
Training Workshops for Public Speaking – Learning to be an effective public speaker is not difficult or as terrifying as people think. I have learnt to combine traditional techniques along with stuttering tools and acting/improvisation games to help anyone learn to be a powerful communicator.
